update: puppy madness

Yes, Kona has still been making predictions about the March Madness games. I’ve just been lagging on reporting them. However, there hasn’t been much news to relay, since she only correctly picked two winners – West Virginia and Kansas State – of the Sweet Sixteen games this past Thursday and Friday.

As for this weekend and the Elite Eight games, she’s two for two so far, as she picked both West Virginia and Butler to win yesterday! I guess we’ll be cheering the BULLDOGS on to the championship. It only makes sense, right (especially since the Norther Iowa Panthers are out of the tournament)?

Today, Kona likes Duke and Michigan State, and I agree! She might just have her first perfect round by the end of the day.

Finally, there’s the women’s NCAA tournament, which the Nebraska Cornhuskers (a No. 1 seed) are dominating. I am NOT, IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, a Nebraska fan, let’s just make that clear. But my boss is. And he asked me to have Kona predict the winner for the women’s Sweet Sixteen game tonight between (1) Nebraska and (4) Kentucky. So here you have it (with photo evidence) … She picked Nebraska! I just hope this isn’t a sign that she’s becoming a Cornhuskers fan.
